Finland stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 0.34%
Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 lost 0.34% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Mandatum Oyj (HE:MANTA), which rose 1.83% or 0.08 points to trade at 4.28 at the close. Meanwhile, Kesko Oyj (HE:KESKOB) added 1.05% or 0.17 points to end at 16.40 and Kojamo (HE:KOJAMO) was up 0.79% or 0.08 points to 9.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE), which fell 2.06% or 0.39 points to trade at 18.56 at the close. Orion Oyj B (HE:ORNBV) declined 1.54% or 0.60 points to end at 38.34 and Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) was down 1.11% or 0.45 points to 39.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 109 to 59 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in Neste Oyj (HE:NESTE) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.06% or 0.39 to 18.56.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 2.29% or 1.82 to $81.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 2.54% or 1.92 to hit $77.45 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.10 to trade at $2,324.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.46% to 1.08, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.26% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 104.81.
